I have bought many of these type of units in a quest ( 1 year long) to find the best all around SD Card player and Bluetooth FM Modulator.
The VRFM9BT doesn't have a colorful screen or play videos, (It is blue screen and easy on the eyes in the dark and can been seen well in the daylight too) Out of the box the first thing you will find is that the instructions are in easy to follow English, not broken part Chinese part English as most of these units and in a matter of minutes you will have your VRFM9BT up and running.
I am using a 8gb class 6 micro SD card with an adapter which this unit plays error free (so far) with a very good sound quality, the FM modulator is very good.
When you first put the 8gb SD card in, it will take a bit to load up but once that happens you will have your music playing very quickly the next time you plug it in.
The Bluetooth works great, it is easy to pair (I am using a Razr V3) and has a clear sound on both ends of the call.
There is a redial last number button on the top of the unit and a voice dialing feature where you can push a button on the remote and it will ask you for a command.
So if you have someone, let's say named Suzy Cream Cheese in your phone, you just say "Call Suzy Cream Cheese" and the unit will call her (or him, who am I to judge). You must say the word "Call" first before the name.
The unit will let you sort though tracks/songs and if you hold the channel button down of a couple of seconds you can sort through folders/albums too.
One thing I would of liked to see is an On Off button for those vehicles that have the 12 volt outlet that stays on all the time. Because you have to keep unplugging it to turn it off.
