(More customer reviews)I bought this unit about a week ago because I did not want to pay extra for the kenwood dnx 9980 or the older model of the dnx 9960. I should have stuck with my first mind and got the kenwood 9980. The pioneer is a good unit but there are some flaws. The GPS needs to be updated, it takes you to the wrong place. The ipod sometimes load up to the head unit, but when it does load up, its pretty fast. The eco system only works if you but your own numbers in the head unit manually (like how much gas you would use if the distant was like 20 minutes away. It does not hook up to your OEM computer in your car like Dnx 9980hd does and will show you alot more about your car automatically. Here is the deal, if you want a head unit to just play dvd, ipod, with a terrible gps, voice recognizer is not good, HD tuner, and at CHEAP price, get pioneer avic z-130 but if you want a head unit that give you all that, OEM computer hook up, great great gps, but cost more, get the Kenwood DNX 9980HD. I should have spent that extra 500.00 on the Kenwood. Pioneer needs to step it up, big time!
