(More customer reviews)This GPS is great for the looks, and the physical design is solid. But what's inside is more important than the physical design. I used a 2 year old Garmin before buying this one. I'd say 2 year old Garmin is much more better than the Sony. If the purpose of the GPS is to take you from point A to point B, it certainly does the job. But you cannot expect any kind of efficiency in terms route planning. You can get traffic updates, and every time there is a delay on your route, you hear "recalculating route" but not really. Since I am in LA, I can listen to 1070 & 790 AM, and do my own route planning based on the traffic conditions.
Conclusion: I am not a big Sony fan, but bought this just because of the brand name, and I regret. Get any Garmin and do yourself a favor.
