(More customer reviews)The device itself is a piece of cake to use. Requires no batteries and comes with ample cord should you wish to leave it permantly hooked up in the car. The device comes with no software or manuals and is useless until you install a compatable package on your android device. I chose a piece of software called 'Torque' available on the Android marketplace for, I believe, $5.99. I have only had the unit a month, but its worked flawlessly so far.
This device on its own will not tell you how to fix your car. It is a tool. However, paired with the right software, it can go a long way towards helping you understand what your car is thinking.
